Sony PHU-60K (PHU60K) Portable XDCAM EX HDD (hard disk drive) recorder for use with the PMW-EX1 / PMW-EX3
The PHU-60K is a robust portable HDD unit with integrated shock resistance and gravity sensor.
The 60GB capacity provides 200 minutes recording at 35Mb/s or 260 minutes at 25Mb/s.
The unit features a direct high speed transfer mode when used in conjunction with the PMW-EX1 and PMW-EX3 XDCAM EX camcorders for accelerated transfer of material from the camcorder's SxS media to the hard disk.
It is battery powered using the same BP-U30 / BP-U60 batteries that are used on the EX1 / EX3 camcorders and will run for 10 hours on a single BP-U30!
Direct USB-2 interface allows instant connectivity to PC / Apple NLE systems and the battery operation makes the unit perfect for field use in conjunction with a laptop system.
